You can't become right with God by obeying Jewish laws, because you don't. No one will ever be saved by obeying the law, because they can't. You can only be saved by faith in Jesus Christ to take away sin.

All humans sin and fall short of God's acceptance. You must realize that you can't find God's favor by trying - and failing - to obey the law.

How can you be accepted by God? Acceptance with God comes by believing in Christ. When you trust Christ - Christ lives in you and any good you do is of Christ: not of youself. The Apostle Paul asks, did the Holy Spirit come upon you because you were doing good or because you believed?

Because you believed. Abraham's promises were given four hundred years before the law was given. He simply accepted God's promise. If obeying the ten commandments could save us, it would obviously be a different way than Abraham's way.

Make a Choice! You must distinguish between the two. You either believe and are trusting in the Blood of Christ or you aren't. Anyone who breaks one single law is cursed. So you can't be saved that way. You must put your faith in the cleansing Blood of Christ.

Why was the Law Given? The Law was given to show us we couldn't keep them.

We need Christ's Spirit. Do not allow yourself to go back to thinking you must obey laws to get to heaven because in doing so you are denying Christ and trying to find your own favor with God. Christ has set you free. Be sure you stay free and don't get tied up in chains of slavery to Jewish law. If you do Christ cannot save you.

You Can't Find Your Own Favor! If you choose to find your own favor with God by obeying the law to make you right with God, you must obey every one 100% of the time or be lost. You know you don't. You cannot do that and Christ is useless to you and you are lost.

With the Holy Spirit's Help! With the help of the Holy Spirit we count on Christ's death to clear away our sins and make us right with God.

We don't need to worry! We who Christ has given eternal life don't need to worry about whether we are obeying the law; for all we need is faith working through love.

If You Worry! You don't have faith - do you? We must have faith in the cross of Christ.

Obey the Holy Spirit Obey only the Holy Spirit's instructions. He will tell you where to go and what to do, and then you won't always be doing the wrong things your evil nature wants you to.Let the Holy Spirit have his way with you. When you are guided by the Holy Spirit you need no longer force yourself to obey Jewish laws. When the Holy Spirit controls our living he produces love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control.
