The first beast is rising from the sea.

Christ revealed to John, the disciple Jesus loved, what will happen in the future. John then wrote the book of Revelation, the name of which means to "Disclose", to "Unveil", to "Reveal", i.e. to make known. The Greek word for "revelation" is apokalupsi (Strong's #602) which comes from apokalupto (#601) and more specifically means to "Take the Cover Off". John wrote these words that Jesus revealed to him from the isles of Patmos, where he was imprisoned for teaching the Word of God in approximately 96 A.D. But as we will find in verse 10 of Revelation chapter 1, John was taken to, and wrote from, the perspective of the time of the end, and even beyond into the millennium. The reason John writes, that these things must "shortly come to pass" is because he is not writing from the perspective of 96 A.D. He was spiritually taken to the future and wrote from there.

Currently, in 2014, some of that revelation has already happened. Four trumpets have already sounded; The fifth trumpet is sounding and the first beast is already rising from the sea.  Locusts, Locusts, Everywhere!  Joel 1:3, "Tell Ye your Children of it, and let your children tell their children, and their children to another generation."  For the sake of your soul, through out eternity, it is of utmost importance that you know and understand the lessons taught by our Lord through His prophet Joel.

Isn't studying God's Word in these last days exciting? I mean here we are, present in the 2000's, when many of these prophecies have already come to pass! That is why,Chapter 13 of the Book of Revelation, is to many folks one of the scariest and most misunderstood chapters in all the Bible.

Jesus reveals 'these beasts" to John in the book of Revelation:

In chapters 2 and 3 Jesus Christ has something to say to the seven churches which is to to all the churches of TODAY, not 96 A.D., and some of it isn't very pretty. Remember we read in chapter one verse three that this is prophecy, it's for today.Again, John was taken to the future when he writes about our churches in the 2000s. They are present and accounted for. They are described by that which they teach and only two of the seven are found to be in good standing. If you find you are aligned with one of the other five, then it is time to switch churches, don't you think? When you read what Jesus had to say in 2;9 and 3:9 keep the following file in mind.

The first beast has risen continued
In chapter 6  John, when taken to heaven in the spirit, was witness to the "unsealing" of the scroll, the written (vs. 5:1) Word of God, by the only One found worthy in both heaven and earth, the One who prevailed at Calvary, the Lamb of God, the Living Word Himself, Jesus the Christ. John writes what he saw and heard when Jesus broke the seals of the scroll. Remember, Jesus' disciples came unto Him in Matthew 24 and Mark 13 and ASKED Him to REVEAL to them the signs when all these prophecies would come to pass and He would return to establish His kingdom (the Day of the Lord). The seals reveal and are signs of what it's to be like just prior to the Lord's second advent.

(live links-) to-Seals 5 & 6 of Revelation chapter 6#13. The first beast has risen continuedThe Seals have now been removed and each and every one of them was opened by the Lamb of God Himself. The detail which He gives us sometimes seems overwhelming, but it is greatly appreciated by those who seek to know all the things that He has foretold us, and He has foretold us all things. But not so fast, we haven't seen the seventh seal yet! Be patient, it's right here in Revelation chapter 8, just ahead of the Trumpets.
The first beast has risen continued
In chapter 8 as John writes his account of Jesus' revelation, the signs have been given, the angels are ready, everything is set to go with the famous 7 Trumpets of Revelation. What are trumpets and how are they used anyway? Well, trumpets are loud horns and militarily speaking, when the trumpets blow, the troops begin to move into position to do battle, and then the final charge is sounded by the final Trump. If you are a student of God's Word, and if you understand the 7 Seals which we've just covered, then these trumpets will make a lot of sense. If not, I hope you like scary movies!
The first beast has risen continued
I suppose we could "sum up" the Seals in just a few words: They are to understand the powers and dark forces of the Four Hidden Dynasties (the 1st 4 Seals), what happen(s)(ed) to those who teach the true Word of God and confront the rider of the horses and the worldwide testimony of God's elect soon to be delivered up (5th), to understand the Two Tribulations and the work (sealing) that must take place before the four winds blow (6th), and to understand the parable of the fig tree and the season when all these things come to pass (7th).

If you understand those 7 Seals, revealed to you by Jesus Christ, then you have eyes to see and ears to hear, and the scroll, His Word, will unroll before your eyes and you can read with understanding the marvelous mysteries of our God. There is nothing like it in the entire universe! It will turn your heart to Him with such love that you cannot contain it. Live Link to-

Luke 10:19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.   {Tribulation is coming, but for true Christians that "power to tread on" includes the head serpent, Satan}

The first beast has risen continued
In chapter 14 we saw what was happening on earth at Christ's return. Now In chapter 15 we are going to see what is happening from the vantage point of heaven. John now looks and sees yet another PICTURE, a sign, a supernatural wonder in heaven. He SEES seven angels who have the seven last plagues containing the wrath of God to be poured out upon the earth on that Day of Vengeance by the King of kings and Lord of lords.

The first beast has risen continued
In chapter 16 we also find the 7 Vials which contain the "wrath of God". If you have studied with us through the 7 Seals and the 7 Trumpets then you will have no difficulty whatsoever with the 7 Vials, for you will see that they are exactly the same as the 7 Trumpets and are exactly in the same order. The Vials are simply the effect of what the events of the 7 Trumpets will have on those who (in the end) had the mark of the beast and "are worshipping" his image, i.e. those who are deceived and worship Satan as Jesus. Many professing Christians of today, the early 2000s, I'm afraid, are included in this group! [Why? Read on!]
(live link-) to-Seven Vials of Revelation chapter 16
The first beast has risen continued
In chapter 16 we saw the 7 Vials containing the wrath of God poured out upon those who had the mark of the beast in their foreheads (minds) and who worshipped Satan, the false messiah, as Jesus Christ. We will now see one of those 7 angels who poured out the vials come and give us a "close up" view of the judgment of the "Great Whore". Maybe we should update the terminology a little and call her the "Great Slut" because the Holy Spirit wants us to get a real good PICTURE of exactly how He looks upon the false religious system that spews forth from that great city where the "son of perdition" will sit claiming that he is God (2 Thes. 2). Also, be it known that our Father deals in reality, so if the terminology used here is offensive then one can always go to a church where they only teach nice things like cute little bunny rabbits and Ishtar eggs, real Biblical gems. As the apostle Paul documents in 2 Thes. 2:3, there's a Great Apostasy about to be born and this Great Whore in Rev. chapter 17 will be its mother and give it birth.

So if you read the Book of Hosea you will read that God tells Hosea to go marry a whore! That's right! "Go marry a whore, Hosea! I want you to know what it is like being married to someone who is unfaithful to you!"

And so it is that we are reading, in chapter 18 of Revelation, the advanced news report about the fall of Babylon the great. We read of the lament of her lovers over her demise. There will be no more flickering light trying to imitate the real light of truth. It's over. We have studied in this Book of Revelation that the beast, Satan, "sets up" his image, i.e. that he is Jesus, and the people who go to church will hear the sound of the music and sing praises to the one sitting in the temple claiming to be God. (They know not that he is the son of perdition). Yes, they will kneel to and worship Satan, who will appear in the image of Christ.

In the 19th chapte,r in the great Book of the Revealing, there's about to be rejoicing in heaven. The 7th Trump is still sounding as Jesus Christ returns to this earth having judged the great whore and avenged the blood of His servants. Babylon the great is history!

The first beast has risen continued
If you've studied, i.e. read with understanding, the entire Bible from the beginning, from Genesis on, line by line then you will completely understand this chapter 19, for as we said earlier, there is nothing really new in the Book of Revelation that hasn't been discussed before in God's Word. It's just that in this Book of the Unveiling, this PICTURE BOOK, prophecy is all tied together and simplified for our understanding. Therefore the rest of the words and phrases in this study, such as Lamb, Word of God, Kings of kings and Lord of lords, etc., are found previously in God's Word.
The first beast has risen continued
The point is that if a person were to pick up the book of Revelation and try to read and understand it without the foundation from the Word, you just can't imagine what kind of scenarios they would come up with. On second thought, you've probably seen some of the wild and crazy interpretations of this book. I actually heard one nationally televised preacher tell the viewers that there are going to come "huge locusts, down out of the sky, the size of horses, with stingers in their tails, and when they sting you it will hurt for 5 months".
The first beast has risen continued
Confusion, confusion! And it all comes from not studying the Word of God!  And so it is written that the time is fast approaching when the whole world will be confused about who the true Christ is. Will you? Not if you are sealed with His Word in your forehead.
The first beast has risen continued
After seeing the fall of "Babylon the great" John hears much rejoicing in heaven. "Alleluia" is the Greek word for the Hebrew word "Hallelujah" which means "Praise ye Jah" or "Praise the Lord". "Jah" or "Yah" is God's name. So now when someone asks you if you speak any Hebrew say "Yes, Hallelujah".
The first beast has risen continued
Man's Religion is the Temple, Jesus Christ will destroy when He returns.
Matthew 24:1 And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple. [2] And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down. [3] And as He sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
Jesus will take the entire remainder of chapter 24 and give a precise, detailed answer to this compound question about the signs and the end. Here is His first response:
Matthew 24:4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. [5] For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
Yes! Many Christian ministers will come and say, "Jesus, is the Christ: then turn right around and teach you traditions that promote the church instead of God's Word! If your church is not teaching you every book of God's Word line by line, chapter by chapter, because they are busy with traditions, then you better start taking the HEED!

Let's "measure the temple of God" like John was ask to do in Rev.11:1!
Rev. 11:1 And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship in it.
Remember when John was told to do this he was first taken spiritually into the future (Rev. 1:10)  to "The Lord's Day", i.e. the Millennium which in this year of our Lord, 2011, is very close a hand. We'll explore what many churches and their leaders teach compared to what the Bible really says. We'll cover a dozen or more church doctrines and teachings that don't seem to be based on Biblical fact.
