"Dung Crisp", "Dung Toasties", and "Sugar Dung Pops"
You won't believe what God told Ezekiel to prophesy, we in this 21st. century would be eating in our so-called Christian churches, and calling it "OUR DAILY BREAD", until you read it for yourself in your Bible
Please remember, in the Bible
"bread"
is always symbolic of "doctrine".

Jesus Christ,
the Word of God,
is that true bread that came down from heaven
(even born in the town called "House of Bread", Beth-lehem in Hebrew)
and is the daily bread that we are to eat.

But there are other "breads", other than the Word of God,
that are made by man and fed to God's children.

They are the "traditions of man".

Here are Christ's words to His disciples concerning bread:

Matthew 16:11 How is it that ye do not understand that I spake it not to you concerning bread, that ye should beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees?

[12] Then understood they how that he bade them not beware of the leaven of bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.

Let's look at this next scene from Ezekiel.
Ezekiel 4:9 Take thou also unto thee wheat, and barley, and beans, and lentiles, and millet, and fitches, and put them in one vessel, and make thee bread thereof, according to the number of the days that thou shalt lie upon thy side, three hundred and ninety days shalt thou eat thereof.
I count 6 grains,
a mixed bag of ingredients from which to make bread,
unlike the fine meal used for delicate cakes (Gen 18:6).

The number "6" is the number of "man".

666 is you-know-who!

Ezekiel 4:10 And thy meat which thou shalt eat shall be by weight, twenty shekels a day: from time to time shalt thou eat it.
Twenty shekels of bread is about 10 ounces per day
and that is barely enough to sustain a person.
Ezekiel 4:11 Thou shalt drink also water by measure, the sixth part of an hin: from time to time shalt thou drink.
About a pint and a half of water per day is all he gets to drink too!
Ezekiel 4:12 And thou shalt eat it as barley cakes, and thou shalt bake it with dung that cometh out of man, in their sight.
WHAT?

Mix in some "humanous poopous"?

Ezekiel 4:13 And the LORD said, Even thus shall the children of Israel eat their defiled bread among the Gentiles, whither I will drive them.
The children of Israel are going to eat these dung cakes?
Yes, they are!
The LORD God said so!

They would be scattered among the Gentiles
and eat their defiled bread,
and they eat it to this very day!

This is exactly the PICTURE
our Father wants us to SEE regarding man's religion.

Pretty graphic, isn't it?

Man's 6 grain bread,
his mixed bag of doctrines,
is baked with man's dung.

The "man" whose dung it is mixed with
is the "ish" (man) of Isaiah 14:15.

It is Satan's output, his crap,
the "bread" of the instead-of-christ, (Satan as the false-christ when he appears here on earth claiming to be God), and it is an abomination!

But I guess his nice little religious cakes,
like the Rapture Theory,
must taste pretty good after all,
for it is a very popular menu item.
(Now you know why their seats upon which they sit in church are called in pews.)

Have you noticed that up to this point
Ezekiel hasn't said much about the things
he's had to do and the parts he's had to play?

He went to the plain like a good watchman,
he built the siege of Jerusalem model,
he placed the iron bread griddle,
and is now willing to lay laid on his side for 390 days.

But when asked to eat these dung cakes,
made with man's dung none the less,
he quickly objects,

"Ah, Lord GOD,
can I say something here?"

Ezekiel 4:14 Then said I, Ah Lord GOD! behold, my soul hath not been polluted: for from my youth up even till now have I not eaten of that which dieth of itself, or is torn in pieces; neither came there abominable flesh into my mouth.
He lets the Lord know
that he has always observed the health laws in Leviticus 11,
which the Lord Himself gave.

God has to be chuckling to Himself
as Ezekiel scrambles to get out of this one!

And Ezekiel did good.
He made his point,
documenting his argument from the Word.
(Of course God knew all along
that He wasn't going to make Ezekiel actually eat man's dung anyway.)

Ezekiel 4:15 Then he said unto me, Lo, I have given thee cow's dung for man's dung, and thou shalt prepare thy bread therewith.
The Lord cuts him a real break here, huh?
Ezekiel 4:16 Moreover he said unto me, Son of man, behold, I will break the staff of bread in Jerusalem: and they shall eat bread by weight, and with care; and they shall drink water by measure, and with astonishment:
Jesus Christ is going to put an end to the "pollution"
which stems from Jerusalem.

Yes, Christ did break the "staff of bread"
in Jerusalem at His first advent,
when He was crucified on the cross.

Yet, He will put a permanent end to it
at the sound of the 7th Trump,
at His second advent.

Ezekiel 4:17 That they may want bread and water, and be astonied one with another, and consume away for their iniquity.
You can read of their dismay and astonishment in Revelation chapter 18.

Meanwhile, there are not many pure,
undefiled bread cakes to be found in the world.

We are in the famine of the end times,
and it will get a whole lot worse when the "dung flinger" himself arrives.

Amos 8:11 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD:
Not many of God's children eat the scroll
within and without that is laid before them,
yet most people have it available in their very homes.

You now know what they eat:

"Dung Crisp", "Dung Toasties", and "Sugar Dung Pops". Yummy!
And,
Where do we find the descendants from the ancient "The House of Israel" today?

The northern kingdom, "House of Israel", along with many from the southern kingdom, "House of Judah" were taken by Assyria, in 721 B.C. well over eight hundred thousand Israelite men  2 Samuel 24:1 - 9 and their families from ten different tribes (2 Kings 17, 18, and 19.)  In 2 Kings 19:32-34 we learn that only Jerusalem was spared.

Then, from the southern kingdom, "House of Judah" one hundred and thirty five years later, in 586 B.C,,  Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon carried more than one half million Israelite men 2 Samuel 24:1 - 9 and their families from the other two tribes, of Benjamin and Judah (the Jews), away to Babylon. 2 Kings 25:1 - 21.

(All total approximately 1,300,000 men plus their wives and children were carried away)

Ezekiel Chapter 4

"Signs; The City; the Sieve."

Ezekiel 4:1 Thou also, son of man, take thee a tile, and lay it before thee, and pourtray upon it the city, even Jerusalem:"

God is telling Ezekiel to take a flat piece of slate, this is a Babylonian brick, and the object is to pourtray the city of Jerusalem becoming Babylon. This lesson is for the end times, and it will relate to the final siege, that is the siege when Antichrist takes over. This is a picture projected far into the future, to the time that we now live in. It is a model of Jerusalem drawn on a tile and given for an object lesson for the House of Israel, [the Christian nations], as well as the House of Judah [the Jews].

Ezekiel 4:2 "And lay siege against it, and build a fort against it, and cast a mount against it; set the camp also against it, and set battering rams against it round about."

Notice that "against it" is used five times, and in Biblical numerics, five stands for grace. It is time that we wake up and stand against the "Judas goats", and make a stand against everything that is unholy.

Ezekiel 4:3 "Moreover take thou unto thee an iron pan, and set it for a wall of iron between thee and the city: and set thy face against it, and it shall be besieged, and thou shalt lay siege against it. this shall be a sign to the house of Israel."

At this time, the iron pan was a flat iron skillet, and the placement of the pan between Ezekiel and this tile with the city of Jerusalem drawn on it, was to show that what is going to happen. This would be on an individual basis. This also is a special message to the Christian nations [House of Israel] and individuals of our day. It is one of the signs that God is giving us that the time of the end is near. Each of the items of warnings have its own meaning,

This sign of the end times takes a close look at Jerusalem, and the events that will take place there. Jesus talked about these abominations that would take place in Jerusalem, as He was quoting from Daniel 9:27, and He warned us and gave special instruction of what we are to do when we see them come to pass.

The subject in this chapter is Jerusalem, and that you are against it. That is that we are against this city when certain things take place in that city. This is the reason that Ezekiel is to take an iron pan, and put it between him and this tile with Jerusalem painted on it. We will see in Ezekiel 38 and 39 that the Christian needs only one wall, regardless where he [she] is. Our wall is God, and that wall is the common sense that we use once we understand His entire word. God gives us instruction as to how to protect us, and He will do the rest.

Iron is always given as a symbol of strength, and an Iron mountain stands for nation with strength and protection. The special instructions to the Christian of exactly what their "iron pan" is, are given in Ephesians 6.10-20. That Iron pan is your breast plate, and that breast plate is part of the gospel armor. That armor is part of protection that you must have on, and in place [in your mind] to understand the signs and events of the end times.

So our protection against this deception, the false peoples that shall come into Jerusalem, that is to say the followers of the Antichrist [Satan], is your gospel armor. What God is saying is this is directed only to Christian nations [the House of Israel], and not to the House of Judah [the Jews]. God will give the Jews special instruction later, however Ezekiel is the chief watchman for the "House of Israel".

This means that within Ezekiel's prophecies are the most complete details explaining fully within the Scriptures to the watchmen of this generation. Within the book of Ezekiel are the best details that explain to the fullest the signs of the times to the watchmen of this generation.

Ezekiel 4:4 "Lie thou also upon thy left side, and lay the iniquity of the house of Israel upon it: according to the number of the days that thou shalt lie upon it thou shalt bear their iniquity."

This is one of the signs God is giving to Ezekiel. God is telling Ezekiel to lie on his left side for a period of time, and for the total number of days, Ezekiel will bear their sin. This is prophecy, and remember that when you lie on one side there is one arm pinned.

Ezekiel 4:5 "For I have laid upon thee the years of their iniquity, according to the number of the days, three hundred and ninety days: so shalt thou bear the iniquity of the house of Israel."

Ezekiel then is the sign, or example whereby people will be able to understand.

Ezekiel 4:6 "And when thou hast accomplished them, lie again on thy right side, and thou shalt bear the iniquity of the house of Judah forty days: I have appointed thee each day for a year."

When you lie on your right side, your right arm is covered.

In Biblical numerics that the number forty is probation. We also know from the parable of the fig tree that Judah would return to the city of Jerusalem, and when the house of Judah returns, they will also be accompanied by bad figs [the Kenites]. These bad figs have caused a great deal of trouble to the house of Judah. [Judah and Benjamin]

Just as the forty years of probation tested the Israelites when they came out of Egypt, until they entered the promised land, so also will their be a period of probation at the close of this flesh age for the House of Israel, the Christians, before they enter into the promise land of the Millennium age.

To find the start of this time of three hundred and ninety years when the House of Israel, The British and American people, became the powers of the world, you have to go back beyond the two hundreds years since we became a nation. From that time the House of Israel [Christian nations] have experienced a form of life that no other nations has come to. Yet we are sinking also to the lowest form of degradation also.

While Ezekiel is pinned to one side, then the other, is to represent the paralyzing degradation that the Houses of Israel will fall to. We have seen the rapid decline in the Christian nations, as crime, drugs and even in the false doctrines and foreign religious forms that are taking a grip on churches that call themselves Christian today.

Friend, as the degradation of the world is taking place, the wall around God's elect stands firm, when you have the gospel armor on. The events and deceptions of the satanic One World System will not tempt you. You will see through the false doctrines, and the lies of the false prophets, when you know the truth.

Ezekiel 4:7 "Therefore thou shalt set thy face toward the siege of Jerusalem, and thine arm shall be uncovered, and thou shalt prophecy against it."

When this siege of Jerusalem takes place, we are not to run from it, or hide from it, or try to escape to some far off place. When this time comes, God is telling you to know how to tell when these signs of the times are, and when you know [arm shall be uncovered] then that is the time to speak out and tell others [prophecy against it], If you have laid on an arm for a year then that arm will be paralyzed, however, God is saying that this paralysis will be removed.

Ezekiel 4:8 "And, behold, I will lay bands upon thee, and thou shalt not turn the from one side to another, till thou hast ended the days of thy siege."

God is telling Ezekiel that His Word will come to pass exactly as it is written, and He will put the blinders on the Christians that they simply won't be able to identify the events and interfere with them until the time for their witnessing and speaking against these events has come. God has His set times, and from the foundation of this earth age, the times and events came to pass, exactly as "it is written" in His Word. Those set times were right on time when Israel came out of Egypt, When Jesus the Christ child was born, and they are right on time today.

We have many putting their books out on Bible prophecy, and as fast as they make their false statements, they have to put out another book to correct the first set of lies. These are false prophets, and they existed in Jeremiah's day, and in Jesus day; and friend, there are many peddling their lies and deceptions today. At the bottom of it all is money, and the vanity to be called the authority, when in fact they are liars. Their problem is that they try to fit the fairy-tales of their false doctrines, to the Word of God, and it just does not fit.

John's Note: Just this very day I threw a book, supposably explaining Bible prophecies, into the trash. It is almost unbelievable what some men [666] will put into print.

Ezekiel 4:9 Take thou also unto thee wheat, and barley, and beans, and lentiles, and millet, and fitches, and put them in one vessel, and make thee bread thereof, according to the number of the days that thou shalt lie upon thy side, three hundred and ninety days shalt thou eat there of."

This is an object less that God is teaching to Ezekiel. Remember from the prior chapters that God came to earth in those highly polished bronze vehicles with cherubim's to give a message personally to Ezekiel. This is part of those words that God spoke.

Each of these items, the wheat, barley, beans and so on, represents items that will make up the bread that will sustain those living in the last days. It is obvious that when you make a bread you do not include all these things in the mixture, and have the baked bread fit to eat. The Christian's bread is the staff of life, and that bread is the hearing of the Word of God. Jesus told us in John 6:35; "Jesus said unto them, "I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on Me shall never thirst."

This is stated by Christ over and over in the Gospels, that Jesus is the only bread that we need. What God is telling Ezekiel about here is another bread that he is to make, and this bread will reflect exactly what most of the so called Christians will try to sustain themselves on in the latter days. Notice that along with the ingredients for real bread, the wheat and the barley, you have things that are not intended for bread, and also things that should not be eaten.

This is a spiritual lesson that God is making into a object lesson that we, living in the latter days, can understand. Remember in Ezekiel 3:1, God had Ezekiel eat the whole book [roll], for that is the whole loaf. The time is coming where the true WORD will be removed from us by the false Christ's [Locust Army], and in it's place a false book [versions of the BIBLE printed with very slight almost unnoticeable changes, but changes that effect the whole meaning of God's Word] will be given [ARE ALREADY IN PRINT] to sustain the church. Are you starting to get the reason for the mixture of all the foreign things here that went to make up the bread [spiritual truth] of the last times? Are you going to rely on the pure Word of God, which is our living bread; or the mixture of half truths, and foreign dogma of the heathen religions that is filtering into the entire church world today.

Ezekiel 4:10 "And thy meat which thou shalt eat shall be by weight, twenty shekels a day: form time to time shalt thou eat it."

God is saying that the meat, or truth of God's Word that you do get will be weighed out for you, and you will receive only what these Kenite traditionalists want you to receive, and then at a cost.

Ezekiel 4:11 "Thou shalt drink also water by measure, the sixth part of an hin: for time to time shalt thou drink."

"The sixth part of an hin" is a sixth part of an gallon, and there is a part of this liquid that you will not like, and that is because of Satan's pollution into the world.

Ezekiel 4:12 "And thou shalt eat it as barley cakes, and thou shalt bake it with dung that cometh out of man, in their sight."

Why would God use an objected lesson like this, of these polluted cakes, or bread mixed with the dung of man, baked and eaten in the sight of everyone? God is teaching those that live in those end a lesson whereby they would surely get the message of how corrupt, polluted people have allowed themselves, and their churches, to become in this generation.

Remember both Ezekiel and Jerusalem are to be a sign to our generation; are you beginning to see the sign that God would have you
see?
This is to show us that in the end time there would be an awesome famine for the truth, and as Amos 8:11 tells us; "Behold, the days come, saith the Lord God, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the Lord:"

Live Link to- The Famine is Coming

Why is it, do you think, that Satan and his Kenite grandchildren are so determined to alter the meaning of the "Writen Word" (Bible translations) here of late? Live Link to-Gutenberg's invention

Lets get these things in proper order here. This is an object lesson to show us a spiritual truth and though these things of pollution are of a physical nature, relate all this to how God's word will become polluted, and filled with all sorts of heathen traditions. Then in this twelfth verse, God is adding man's dung to the ingredients to make the bread. If that doesn't turn your stomach, I don't know what will. However this mess that is called bread, is how God looks at the teaching that is forming as part of the so-called Christian church world today, and it will get worse. This polluted bread is an analogy of the deception that will take place upon Satan's arrival to earth, when he too serves and is accepted as the Antichrist.

God is getting graphic to wake us up to the changes now taking place. The entire Christian world is being prepared to accept Satan as the true Christ, when he comes, and spiritually this cake filled with all these impurities, and man's dung, fits the lesson perfectly. The bread, that is to say the "Word of God", is going to be polluted with the dung of Satan, and that is to say Satan's corruption in the end times. This is the way that God feels about this.

This is the abomination that was spoken of, and it is the great apostasy that will come on the whole earth with a perverted so-called Christian religion (Churchinanity) that will capture all but the elect of God.

Ezekiel 4:13 "And the Lord said, "Even thus shall the children of Israel eat their defiled bread among the Gentiles, whither I will drive them."

This is to be the "bread of life" but instead it's the bull **** of the Antichrist, and Christian and Gentile alike will all eat of this bread. All that is, except the elect of God, who know the truth.

Ezekiel 4:14 "Then said I, "Ah Lord God! behold, my soul hath not been polluted: for from my youth up even till now have I not eaten of that which dieth of itself, or is torn in pieces; neither came there abominable flesh into my mouth."

Ezekiel is telling God that he simply could not eat this bread, and this is in reference to God's health laws, he is telling God "Don't make me make bread made of that evil stuff".

Ezekiel 4:15 "Then He said unto me, "Lo, I have given thee cow's dung for Man's dung, and thou shalt prepare thy bread therewith."

Ezekiel is the example to the house of Israel, the Christians, of what will take place over that forty days before his coming. So here God changes the formula of the bread and adds cow dung, instead of man's dung.

Ezekiel 4:16 "Moreover He said unto me, "Son of man, behold, I will break the staff of bread in Jerusalem: and they shall eat bread by weight, and with care; and they shall drink water by measure, and with astonishment;"

In the historical sense there was a time of great shortages in Jerusalem, however this is a spiritual object lesson for another time. This astonishment that the world and Jerusalem will have, as they take their spiritual bread of Satan's filth, is what will cause them to bow down to him. There will be a small number of people that will be saved from partaking in the abominations of Satan deceptions and wonders. These people are God's elect, and they will escape because the took of the true bread of life, the Word of God, and they were sealed in their minds of the signs and events of the end times.

The bread is the word of God, and by studying that Word you will have the knowledge and the council to see the truth, and the deceptions and lies of Satan will not be tempting to you.

Ezekiel 4:17 "That they may want bread and water, and be astonied one with another, and consumed away for their iniquity."

Stop and apply this to those around us today. How many even care what is in the Word, and the details of warnings of the Old Testament today. Many pastors even tell their flocks that the book of Revelation, revealed by Jesus Christ Himself is not to be understood. How ridiculous, for a man of God to stand and tell his flock that Revelation is not to be learned, or any part of the Bible, when God told us to learn it. Know it. Make it part of your mind, and the very seal for your life.

The Christian world on the whole today, simply is lazy, and they don't want to take the time to understand, and become part of anything that would come between them and their friends, The Kenites have caused and taught them to be lazy, and to study and know God's Word for the truth that is there takes time and in many ways, courage to stand for what is right.

In the next chapter both the city of Jerusalem, and God's remnant are addressed, as a sign to Ezekiel, just as Ezekiel is a sign to them.

American Wisdom Series Editor's Note:: We are going to stop here in this study of Ezekiel's prophecies to review some commentary from chapter 4 in an earlier study we published on the Ezekiel.  I don't believe you will find much difference in the general opinion of these 2 authors, but to read another person's perspective of events that will take place may prove helpful in our understanding of what Ezekiel was told to pass on to us by, "THUS SAITH THE LORD".

From Pamphlet #8004

The children of Israel are going to eat these dung cakes? Yes, they are! The LORD God said so! They would be scattered among the Gentiles and eat their defiled bread, and they eat it to this very day!

As we begin chapter four of Ezekiel, it is worth noting that one of the paradoxes concerning the Word of God is that our Father uses very simple examples and illustrations to make clear what it is He would have us to understand, and yet when people read these simple illustrations and the events He brought forth in the Old Testament, they find them confusing and inexplicable. "These things" are supposed to make our understanding easier, but they do not see the simplicity because they have failed to eat the whole scroll "within and without" and consequently do not understand the symbology used or the plan of God to which it relates. We will find this ever so true in this book of Ezekiel as this prophet and priest is asked to do some things which "seem strange" to some. But as the Apostle Paul said concerning the events and deeds of old, they happened as examples for us in these LAST DAYS!

1 Cor. 10:11
Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.
People naturally remember infinitely more of what they SEE than what they hear or read. And the more unusual a picture is, even if you only SEE it in your mind's eye, the easier it is to remember.

Here's an example:

If you looked out your window and saw a chicken and a horse in your yard, that would be unusual, wouldn't it?  (Farmers excluded, perhaps.) But, if you looked out your window and saw the chicken riding the horse, that would be VERY unusual, right? However, if you looked out your window and saw the horse riding the chicken, you would NEVER FORGET IT!
You have heard the true saying many times, "A picture is worth a thousand words." Here is how the Apostle Peter would say it:
"But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one picture is with the Lord as a thousand words, and a thousand words as one picture."
Keep that in mind as Ezekiel is now asked to build a "model" of the siege of Jerusalem that will come by the king of Babylon. It will be a sign for the House of Israel (vs. 3), but remember for what "time" this book was written, even the time of the end. Yes, the king of Babylon (Satan) and his angels will come and lay siege on Jerusalem where he will stand in the temple claiming to be God.

Here are Ezekiel's instructions:

Ezekiel 4:1
Thou also, son of man, take thee a tile, and lay it before thee, and pourtray upon it the city, even Jerusalem:
The "tile" is a "Babylonian" writing tablet, or brick, about the size of a legal pad. Ezekiel is to take it and etch a picture of the city of Jerusalem on it and lay it before him.
[2] And lay siege against it, and build a fort against it, and cast a mount against it; set the camp also against it, and set battering rams against it round about.
Now Ezekiel is to illustrate Jerusalem under siege by running trenches, building a siege-wall against it, pitching enemy camps around it, and setting battering rams against it. Got the picture so far? He's sort of playing in the dirt.

Personal Note: We used to build forts and battle grounds like this when we were kids, with our little rubber and plastic soldiers and tanks and cannons, etc. Sometimes we even played cowboys and native americans.

Now for the spiritual illustration.

[3] Moreover take thou unto thee an iron pan, and set it for a wall of iron between thee and the city: and set thy face against it, and it shall be besieged, and thou shalt lay siege against it. This shall be a sign to the house of Israel.
The iron pan is a flat iron griddle and represents the strong, impenetrable wall of separation between God's elect and the city of Jerusalem when it is under siege by the enemy. It is He who strengthens whom He will that is our impenetrable wall of protection. Did you see the picture? It is very simple and easy to visualize, isn't it?

Oh boy! Just wait until you see what kind of barley cakes Ezekiel is ask to bake! Yeecch!

Let's recap the first three chapters of Ezekiel. The LORD God Almighty came down from heaven in a highly polished spectrum metal vehicle, expressly to Ezekiel, to make him strong and to deliver His messages to him, so that we in the last days would also be made strong through knowing what is happening now, what is about to happen, and what we are to do!

The first thing God told Ezekiel was that He was going to send him to the children of Israel, but only after he was qualified and had eaten the "scroll written within and without". This analogy is simply a PICTURE to illustrate how we are to study and absorb into our very being the ENTIRE Word of God and to prepare ourselves to be used by Him. You know, study to show yourself approved (for use) (2 Tim. 2:15). Nowhere was Ezekiel told he just needed to go to church one day a week or preach that to the people.

Then, after Ezekiel had eaten the scroll, he was promoted and made a WATCHMAN unto the House of Israel, an extremely important position of responsibility, and he was instructed to hear the words of God from His mouth (His Word), and to give warning to the people from Him (His Word) in the manner of, "Thus saith the Lord", and its various forms such as, "It is written".

Now Ezekiel is being instructed to physically act out and demonstrate by doing things and using things that we can "SEE", so that we have a clear PICTURE in our minds of what He wants us to understand. They are like little plays on a stage giving us a VISION in our minds, thereby helping us to understand and remember. And it works very well!

The Lord began Ezekiel's demonstrations for us by telling him to go position himself on the "plain" between two mountains and He would talk to him there. Ezekiel was to know from this geographical placement that he would be in the "split" between the mountains, which are symbolic of nations, meaning Israel and Babylon, or on a higher level, the two powers, Christ and Satan. So it shall be for the watchmen in this final generation.

Ezekiel was then told to build a model of the city of Jerusalem under siege, by taking a Babylon brick and etching a picture of the city of Jerusalem on it and laying it before him and setting the enemy camps and battering rams, etc. around it. He was then to take an iron griddle used for baking "bread" and set it as a wall between him and the city. He was to face the iron wall and then show the city under siege while he is fully protected behind it. In like manner we will be protected by that iron shield when the city once again comes under siege by the king of Babylon (Satan, the spurious messiah) in these last days. The LORD God is our wall of protection, symbolized by the impenetrable iron.

We are now ready to SEE the next scene in the play, "The Siege of Jerusalem", starring Ezekiel the prophet, and understand its message. Here is the script as narrated by the Writer of writers, the LORD God.

Ezekiel 4:4
Lie thou also upon thy left side, and lay the iniquity of the house of Israel upon it: according to the number of the days that thou shalt lie upon it thou shalt bear their iniquity.
OK, we can see him lying on his left side, bearing the sin of the House of Israel (not Judah), and with his right arm "bare" (vs. 7). So what does this demonstartion symbolize? The next verse tells us.
[5] For I have laid upon thee the years of their iniquity, according to the number of the days, three hundred and ninety days: so shalt thou bear the iniquity of the house of Israel. (not Judah)
By lying on his left side for 390 days, Ezekiel is demonstrating the time period of the iniquity of the House of Israel, the length of which we will understand when the key is given in the next verse.
Ezekiel 4:6 And when thou hast accomplished them, lie again on thy right side, and thou shalt bear the iniquity of the house of Judah forty days: I have appointed thee each day for a year.
After 390 days Ezekiel switches to his right side and this time bears the iniquity for the House of Judah for forty days.(not Israel) We are then told that each day represents one year so we have 390 years for the House of Israel plus 40 years for the House of Judah. That's 430 years in all.
Ezekiel 4:7 Therefore thou shalt set thy face toward the siege of Jerusalem, and thine arm shall be uncovered, and thou shalt prophesy against it.
What does the phrase "and your arm shall be uncovered mean".  It is a metaphor from warriors who bare their arm for battle. It is analogous to "girding" oneself. The type of long garments worn in those days covered the arms and they would have to be uncovered to be "ready for action".
Isaiah 52:10
The LORD hath made bare his holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God.
Next, Ezekiel is told by the Lord that he will complete this demonstration as scripted, without fail, without interruption!
Ezekiel 4:8 And, behold, I will lay bands upon thee, and thou shalt not turn thee from one side to another, till thou hast ended the days of thy siege.
This shows that there is no possibility of the Houses of Israel and Judah escaping their 430 years of punishment.

Do you remember how long Israel sojourned in the land of Egypt? It was 430 years, wasn't it? At the end of those 430 years was the Passover.

Exodus 12:40
Now the sojourning of the children of Israel, who dwelt in Egypt, was four hundred and thirty years.

[41] And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years, even the selfsame day it came to pass, that all the hosts of the LORD went out from the land of Egypt.

[42] It is a night to be much observed unto the LORD for bringing them out from the land of Egypt: this is that night of the LORD to be observed of all the children of Israel in their generations.

[43] And the LORD said unto Moses and Aaron, This is the ordinance of the passover: There shall no stranger eat thereof:

And so it will also be 430 years from the time of Ezekiel (and Daniel) until the Passover Lamb appears. (Appendix 50 in the Companion Bible will give you the correct chronology.) There is also very little secular history that can be found during this period. What does this mean for us today? Let's continue with the play.

Before we witness what is about to be demonstrated, it is worth reminding ourselves that "bread" is always symbolic of "doctrine". Jesus Christ, the Word of God, is that true bread that came down from heaven (even born in the town called "House of Bread", Beth-lehem in Hebrew) and is the daily bread that we are to eat. But there are other "breads", other than the Word of God, that are made by man and fed to God's children. They are the "traditions of man".

Here are Christ's words to His disciples concerning bread:

Matthew 16:11
How is it that ye do not understand that I spake it not to you concerning bread, that ye should beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees?

[12] Then understood they how that he bade them not beware of the leaven of bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.

We are now ready for the next scene.
Ezekiel 4:9
Take thou also unto thee wheat, and barley, and beans, and lentiles, and millet, and fitches, and put them in one vessel, and make thee bread thereof, according to the number of the days that thou shalt lie upon thy side, three hundred and ninety days shalt thou eat thereof.
I count 6 grains, a mixed bag of ingredients from which to make bread, unlike the fine meal used for delicate cakes (Gen 18:6). The number "6" is the number of "man". 666 is you-know-who!
Ezekiel 4:10 And thy meat which thou shalt eat shall be by weight, twenty shekels a day: from time to time shalt thou eat it.
Twenty shekels of bread is about 10 ounces per day and that is barely enough to sustain a person.
And make sure everyone sees it! (I was just getting over the flying saucer thing and now this! And what is this play rated anyway? PG-13?)
Ezekiel 4:13 And the LORD said, Even thus shall the children of Israel eat their defiled bread among the Gentiles, whither I will drive them.
The children of Israel are going to eat these dung cakes? Yes, they are! The LORD God said so! They would be scattered among the Gentiles and eat their defiled bread, and they eat it, in the churches to our land, to this very day, in the 21st century!

This is exactly the PICTURE our Father wants us to SEE regarding man's religion.

Pretty graphic, isn't it? Man's 6 grain bread, his mixed bag of doctrines, is baked with man's dung. The "man" whose dung it is mixed with is the "ish" (man) of Isaiah 14:15. It is Satan's output, his crap, the "bread" of the false-christ, and it is an abomination! But I guess his nice little religious cakes, like the Rapture Theory, must taste pretty good after all, for it is a very popular menu item. (Now you know why their seats upon which they sit in church are called in pews.)

Have you noticed that up to this point Ezekiel hasn't said much about the things he's had to do and the parts he's had to play? He went to the plain like a good watchman, he built the siege of Jerusalem model, he placed the iron bread griddle, and is now willing to lay laid on his side for 390 days. But when asked to eat these dung cakes, made with man's dung none the less, he quickly objects, "Ah, Lord GOD, can I say something here?"

Ezekiel 4:14 Then said I, Ah Lord GOD! behold, my soul hath not been polluted: for from my youth up even till now have I not eaten of that which dieth of itself, or is torn in pieces; neither came there abominable flesh into my mouth.
He lets the Lord know that he has always observed the health laws in Leviticus 11, which the Lord Himself gave. God has to be chuckling to Himself as Ezekiel scrambles to get out of this one! And Ezekiel did good. He made his point, documenting his argument from the Word. (Of course God knew all along that He wasn't going to make Ezekiel actually eat man's dung anyway. Don't forget, God created the Irish too!)
Ezekiel 4:15
Then he said unto me, Lo, I have given thee cow's dung for man's dung, and thou shalt prepare thy bread therewith.
The Lord cuts him a real break here, huh?
Ezekiel 4:16
Moreover he said unto me, Son of man, behold, I will break the staff of bread in Jerusalem: and they shall eat bread by weight, and with care; and they shall drink water by measure, and with astonishment:
Jesus Christ is going to put an end to the "pollution" which stems from Jerusalem. Yes, Christ did break the "staff of bread" in Jerusalem at His first advent, when He was crucified on the cross. Yet He will put a permanent end to it at the sound of the 7th Trump, at His second advent.
Ezekiel 4:17
That they may want bread and water, and be astonied one with another, and consume away for their iniquity.
You can read of their dismay and astonishment in Revelation chapter 18. Meanwhile, there are not many pure, undefiled bread cakes to be found in the world. We are in the famine of the end times, and it will get a whole lot worse when the "dung flinger" himself arrives.
Amos 8:11
Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD:
Not many of God's children eat the scroll within and without that is laid before them, yet most people have it available in their very homes. Yes, laying there on the coffee table!

You now know what they eat: "Dung Crisp", "Dung Toasties", and "Sugar Dung Pops". Yummy!

To study the Bible is the noblest of all pursuits; to understand it, the highest of all goals.
We pray that with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, you accomplish both.
