This is not the "Founder's" form of government!

Today we have a Federal government which is consolidated and absolute, based on the unrestrained will of the majority, with force, threats, and intimidation being the order of the day. Our Federal Government is considerably at odds with that envisioned by the framers of the Constitution.  Our Federal Government, abetted by a Supreme Court unwilling to hold it to its constitutional restraints, has run amok over states and personal rights; and we keep voting for the candidates from the two major political parties, who brought us to this.

Shame on us!

"When you become entitled to exercise the right of voting for public officers, let it be impressed on your mind that God commands you to choose for rulers just men who will rule in the fear of God. The preservation of a republican government depends on the faithful discharge of this duty; Noah Webster "If the citizens neglect their duty and place unprincipled men in office, the government will soon be corrupted; laws will be made not for the public good so much as for the selfish or local purposes; "Corrupt or incompetent men will be appointed to execute the laws; the public revenues will be squandered on unworthy men; and the rights of the citizens will be violated or disregarded. "If a republican government fails to secure public prosperity and happiness, it must be because the citizens neglect the divine commands, and elect bad men to make and administer the laws."

George Washington feared two threats to America above all others.

First, the corrupting influence of political parties with their spirit of faction and selfishness; and
Second, the weakening of the influence of religious morality on public life.

On both counts he was right - the Democrats and Republicans have betrayed us,
and squandered the Founder''s legacy of liberty and justice.

Countless government officials in the legislative, executive, and judicial branches of government (Republicans and Democrats) take their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution with no understanding of the responsibilities that oath entails.

Shame on us , for electing them!
