Do not ever confuse this destruction and flood of the first earth age with the flood of Noah, for after the katabole there was NO MAN and no birds, etc., left upon the earth. There was only total darkness and water covered all the earth!
This Ain't Noah's Flood!

The good news is that one day "...the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea". Of course with the earth in the decadent spiritual condition it is in these last days, there will necessarily have to be a remarkable transition to bring in the birth of that new age, won't there? And so it is when Jesus Christ, the King of kings and Lord of lords who has all power in both heaven and earth (Mat. 28:18), returns to this earth with His mighty army of saints (Rev. 19:11-13) at the sound of the 7th Trump, there will be a spiritual shakeup on this planet the likes of which can only be compared to the "katabole", which was the overthrow and destruction of the first earth age found in Genesis 1:2 when the earth "became" tohu va bohu, utterly void and desolate, and water covered the face of the deep (see appendix 146 in the Companion Bible)The apostle Peter even speaks of that first earth age, calling it "the world that then was", which was the age long ago when dinosaurs roamed the earth, the age to which all Fossils and "Remains" belong!  Peter informs us that the Word of God not only declares the destruction of that first earth age, but also the reason why it perished... because of ungodly men! Peter then makes the point that this present earth age with all its evil rudiments (1 Peter 3:10) shall likewise perish, as in be "burned up" by the "consuming fire" at the brightness of the Lord's coming (Hebrews 12:29 "For our God is a consuming fire".)

The word "FOUNDATION" used here in Genesis 1:2 doesn't mean what I, at FIRST, thought it meant.

See below

This Is Appendix 146 From The Companion Bible.
To arrive at the true meaning of this expression, we must note that
there are two words translated "foundation" in the New Testament:
(1) themelios, and (2) katabole.
The Noun, themelios, occurs in Luke 6:48-49, 14:29, Acts 16:26,
Romans 15:20, 1Corinthians 3:l0-12, Ephesians 2:20, 1Timothy 6:19,
2Timothy 2:19, Hebrews 6:1, 11:10, Revelation 21:14,19. It is never
used of the world (kosmos) or the earth (ge). The corresponding
Verb (themelioo) occurs in Matthew 7:25, Luke 6:48, Ephesians
3:17, Colossians 1:23, Hebrews 1:10 and 1Peter 5:10. The verb is
only once used of the earth (ge). Hebrews 1:10.
A comparison of all these passages will show that these are proper
and regular terms for the English words "to found", and
"foundation".

The Noun, katabole, occurs in Matthew 13:35, 25:34, Luke 11:50,
John 17:24, Ephesians 1:4, Hebrews 4:3, 9:26 , 11:11, 1Peter 1:20,
Revelation 13:8, 17:8 and the corresponding Verb (kataballo)
occurs in 2Corinthians 4:9, Hebrews 6:1 and Revelation 12:10.
A comparison of all these passages (especially 2Corinthians 4:9
and Revelation 12:10) will show that kataballo and katabole are not
the proper terms for founding and foundation, but the correct
meaning is casting down, or overthrow.
Consistency, therefore, calls for the same translation in Hebrews
6:1, where, instead of "not laying again", the rendering should be
"not casting down". That is to say, the foundation already laid, of
repentance, etc., was not to be cast down or overthrown, but was to
be left and progress made unto the perfection.
Accordingly, the Noun katabole, derived from, and cognate with
the Verb, ought to be translated "disruption", or "ruin".
The remarkable thing is that in all occurrences (except Hebrews
11:11) the word is connected with "the world" (Greek kosmos.
Appendix 129.1), and therefore the expression should be rendered
"the disruption (or ruin) of the world", clearly referring to the
condition indicated in Genesis 1:2, and described in 2Peter 3:5-6. For
the earth was not created tohu (Isaiah 45:18) but became so, as
stated in the Hebrew of Genesis 1:2 and confirmed by 2Peter 3:6,
where "the world that then was by the word of God" (Genesis 1:1),
perished and "the heavens and the earth which are now, by the same
word" were created (Genesis 2:4), and are "kept in store, reserved
unto fire against the day of judgment" (2Peter 3:7) which shall usher
in the "new heavens and the new earth" of 2Peter 3:13.
"The disruption of the world" is an event forming a great dividing
line in the dispensations of the ages. In Genesis 1:1 we have the
founding of the world (Hebrews 1:10 = themelioo), but in Genesis
1:2 we have its overthrow.

This is confirmed by a further remarkable fact, that the phrase,
which occurs ten times, is associated with the Preposition apo =
from (Appendix 104. iv) seven times, and with pro = before
(Appendix 104. xiv) three times. The former refers to the kingdom,
and is connected with the "counsels" of God; the latter refers to the
Mystery (or Secret; See Appendix 193) and is connected with the
"purpose" of God (see John 17:24, Ephesians 1:4, 1Peter 1:20).
Ample New Testament testimony is thus given to the profoundly
significant fact recorded in Genesis 1:2, that "the earth became tohu
and bohu (i.e. waste end desolate); and darkness was on the face of
the deep", before the creation of "the heavens and the earth which
are now" (2Peter 3:7)

You "see", as it is written in the first chapter of the great book of Ecclesiastes, "there is no new thing under the sun", which means there is nothing new politically, economically, educationally, or even religiously in this second earth age wherein flesh man "walks under the sun", from what it was like in that first earth age. So if you want to know what it was like back then before the overthrow of the New World Order at the "katabole", just take a look around! In fact you will find in the 31st chapter of Ezekiel that the "tree of the knowledge of good and evil", Satan, that old box-cedar (te'ashshur) who stood in the midst of the garden of God in that first earth age and exalted himself to be like the most high (Isa. 14:14), once had all great nations dwelling under his shadow... until our Father hewed him down low to ground and sentenced him in Ezek. 28:18 to be consumed by fire.

Ezekiel 31:6
All the fowls of heaven made their nests in his boughs, and under his branches did all the beasts of the field bring forth their young, and under his shadow dwelt all great nations.
Of course before our Father brought about the hewing of that tree and the destruction of the first earth age, His servants who stood faithfully by His side blew the trumpet of war and sounded the alarm warning His people of what was to befall them. All this you can read about in Jeremiah 4:19-26.
Jeremiah 4:19-26
My bowels, my bowels! I am pained at my very heart; my heart maketh a noise in me; I cannot hold my peace, because thou hast heard, O my soul, the sound of the trump, the alarm of war.
It upset and disheartened our Father immensely to see His children ignore His Word and His warning as they continued to follow after Babylon the Great, Satan's same old New World Order in "the world that was".
[20] Destruction upon destruction is cried; for the whole land is spoiled: suddenly are my tents spoiled, and my curtains in a moment.

[21] How long shall I see the standard, and hear the sound of the trumpet?

How long should our Father continue to give warning to a stubborn and rebellious people who continue to ignore His knowledge and wisdom? As it is written in 2 Pet. 3:9, our Father is "longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance", but there comes a time when enough is enough and tough love is in order.
[22] For my people is foolish, they have not known me; they are sottish children, and they have none understanding: they are wise to do evil, but to do good they have no knowledge.
The word "sottish" comes from the Celtic and means "stupid"! You "see", it is especially since the advent of the peace-love-Woodstock Baby Boomer generation that brought forth the 1/3 who were drawn away in the first earth age (Rev. 12:4) that our people have become more and more Biblically illiterate to the point that they tolerate liberalism, which is not only evil but utter foolishness and contrary to the Word of God, in all areas of their lives, i.e. economically, politically, educationally, and religiously. Again, there is nothing new under the sun and when the New World Order came to its fullness in the first earth age and after our Father had given sufficient witness unto all nations through His servants that He would violently shake the earth and destroy that "world that then was (2 Pet. 3:6)"... He did just that! Here is your documentation:
[23] I beheld the earth, and, lo, it was without form, and void; and the heavens, and they had no light.
This verse directly parallels Genesis 1:2 that states that the earth "became" without form and void (tohu va bohu) and darkness (no light) covered the face of the deep! Genesis 1:2 "And the earth was (became) without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters."
[24] I beheld the mountains, and, lo, they trembled, and all the hills moved lightly.
Mountains are symbolic of nations and so it is that they all trembled as He shook them to their very foundations... as in leveled them flatter than a pancake. And you know what? It is going to happen again at the end of this flesh age.
[25] I beheld, and, lo, there was no man, and all the birds of the heavens were fled.
Do not ever confuse this destruction of the first earth age with the flood of Noah, for after the katabole there was NO MAN and no birds, etc., left upon the earth. There was only total darkness and water covered all the earth!
[26] I beheld, and, lo, the fruitful place was a wilderness, and all the cities thereof were broken down at the presence of the LORD, and by His fierce anger.
And so it is written that at the end of this flesh age, that the old box-cedar (Satan) would raise up his old New World Order (the Beast of Rev. 13:1) from among the waters (people) and once again bring all the nations to dwell under his shadow, under the same One World System that he had in the first earth age. A comparison of Rev. 12:4, the one world political structure in the first earth age, with Rev. 13:1, the one world political structure at the end of this age, will document that for you.
This is already happening in this 21st. century; And The sixth trump hasn't even sounded yet! Satan is not here in person yet, claiming he is God! But he is still running his show, spiritually through his Kenite's/Cain's grandkids.

Remember we learned in the book of Isaiah, that the Assyrian, a type of Antichrist which we will further document in the chapter 14, is coming upon the land in these last days! So you "see", Babylon the Great shall once again be the order of the day at the end of this flesh age! "Babylon" comes from the word "babel" in Hebrew which means "confusion"... an apt description of today's society and what is happening in the world!

However, once again our Father is going to give proclamation and witness unto all the nations, even unto Babylon the Great, that His cup of wrath is about filled to the full and He is soon coming with His mighty saints to crush and destroy the corrupt and vile New World Order and establish the kingdom of God upon the earth. We are privileged to read about that warning in this study of chapter 13 which begins the fourth great division of the Book of Isaiah, which consists of "burdens alternated with Israel's blessings" (see structure on page 930 of the Companion Bible).

Live Link to->> Isaiah 13

In Isaiah chapters 14 & 28 we learn how all the professing Christians who really don't know the Lord, not  having studied His Word to show themselves approved, will therefore worship Satan when he arrives here on earth claiming to be Jesus returned, but will ultimately be saved at the second resurrection.

In chapter 14 we shall learn a proverb against the king of Babylon, i.e. Satan, and "see" on into the future time of the Millennium, after the seventh trump sounds, at Christ's return, when "the world is at rest, and is quiet (Isa. 14:7)" and see what shall become of that wicked one. Isaiah 14:16 They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms;[17] That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners. and the fate, during the Millennium, of all those professing Christians and the non-Christians who worship "the false-christ" after the sixth trump sounds, when he, Satan, comes to earth claiming to be "The Christ", and their possible redemption or condemnation at the "Great White Throne of Judgment" after the Millennium. Isaiah 14:32  What shall one then answer the messengers of the nation? [32... cont.] That the LORD hath founded Zion, and the poor of His people shall trust in it.

Chapter 14    #6414

Prophecy concerning the burden of Moab in chapters 15 and 16 The Moabites are cousins to the Houses of Israel and Judah.

Chapter 15   #6415
Chapter 16   #6416

Prophecy concerning the burden of Damascus (Syria) in chapter 17

Chapter 17    #6417

Prophecy concerning a Woe to a land which is beyond the rivers of Ethiopia (The United States) "The Stone Kingdom"  in chapter 18

Chapter 18     #6418

Prophecy concerning the burden of Egypt (all the Arab nations) in chapters 19 and 20

Chapter 19    #6419
Chapter 20    #6420

Prophecy concerning the burden of the Desert of the Sea ( Babylon) including burdens upon Dumah (Russia) and Arabia in chapter 21

Chapter 21     #6421

We have now completed the "7" chapters from Isaiah 15-21 wherein the "7" burdens or warnings are given to the nations for these last days.

We are now directed to take heed to the "valley of vision", which is, Jerusalem, the focal point of Biblical prophecy in these lasts days.

Chapter 22     #6422

The 23rd chapter of Isaiah concerns the oracle or revelation of Tyre.

Chapter 23   #6423

Isaiah 24 & 25 are precious indeed in that they speak both of The Lord's Judgment and His Mercy.

Chapter 24   #6424
Chapter 25   #6425

This remarkable 26th chapter of Isaiah will give us not only an outline of how our Father's wondrous plan shall unfold in these last days, but it will also give us an in-depth view of the purpose behind His chastisement and vengeance upon the ungodly!

Chapter 26   #6426

In chapter 27 we are going to be given insight into our Father's marvelous plan of salvation, even additional insight into the great purpose He has for bringing chastisement upon His people.

Chapter 27   #6427

Chapter 28 begins a series or cycle of six "woes" that continues through to chapter 35 and verse 10.
These woes not only correspond to the "burdens" or oracles we studied previously in Isaiah but they are presented to us in a structured alternation and contrasted with Yahveh's glories (see page 964 in the Companion Bible, Kregel Publications). The beauty in the Holy Spirit teaching us in this alternating fashion is that it enables us to more clearly "see" the remarkable differences between man's vain and futile ways that ultimately lead to destruction and death and our Father's perfect and righteous ways that bring peace and happiness and lead to eternal rest.
In chapter 28 we learn that multitudes of Christians who do not have faith based upon the foundation of God's Word are surely going to make a "covenant with Death" and "an agreement with Hell". In fact, the majority of our people have been so drawn away from their Father's Word, the foundation of truth, by soothsaying preachers who teach the traditions of men instead of His Word, that they cannot tell the difference between that which is profane (the false Christ) and that which is holy (the true Christ).

Chapter 28    #6428

In chapter 28 we learned that multitudes of Christians who do not have faith based upon the foundation of God's Word are surely going to make a "covenant with Death" and "an agreement with Hell". In fact, the majority of our people have been so drawn away from their Father's Word, the foundation of truth, by soothsaying preachers who teach the traditions of men instead of His Word, that they cannot tell the difference between that which is profane (the false-christ) and that which is holy (the true Christ). The end result of listening to men instead of hearing His Voice from His Word is that our people shall become sorely deceived by the overflowing flood of lies and deceit spewed forth by the false messiah whose name is Death and who Hell (the grave) follows after (Rev. 6:8). However, the good news is that when Jesus Christ, the true Bridegroom, returns at the sound of the 7th Trump, our people will suddenly be wakened and come to realize the shamefulness of their spiritual adultery. In that day they will come to know that their (marriage) covenant was with Death, the false messiah, instead of with Jesus Christ and they will turn their hearts back to the Lord their God. Unfortunately they will have missed out on the blessings of the first resurrection and will have to wait until the end of the Millennium to receive eternal life.
Let's review,  Isaiah 28:18 And your covenant with death shall be disannulled, and your agreement with hell shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, then ye shall be trodden down by it.

In chapter 29 we find the second of the six woes we discussed at the beginning of chapter 28 and this one is directed to Ariel, the city where David dwelt, or as the Septuagint has it, "the city which David besieged". Of course this is referring to Jerusalem, the "altar-hearth of God*", the city that our Father took to wife in Ezekiel 16 and determined to be His eternal dwelling place, the headquarters of the universe for all eternity (Rev. 21:2). Is there any wonder therefore that this city has been the scene of more wars and bloodshed than any other city in the history of mankind? Remember we read back in Isaiah 14:13 that Satan wants to exalt his throne and sit upon Mount Zion and be worshipped as God. Isaiah 14:13 "For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north."
The hour is late and it is time to quit playing church and stop listening to men's traditions and open your eyes to the "visions" of the prophets through whom Jesus Christ has foretold us all things (Mark 13:23).

Chapter 29    #6429

It seems today that many of our people, including many of our leaders, would rather put their trust in the cunning devices and fortresses of man and his New World Order rather than trust in and seek wise counsel from the LORD through His Word. Well, our Father has something to say about that in this 30th chapter of the great book of Isaiah, whose name remember means "Yahveh's Salvation".
"Will you be one who waits for the LORD" and thus be one who is "blessed" or will you follow after the false messiah and the things of this world and wind up spiritually dead as one who is slain by the spiritual sword of the Assyrian? In fact you could ask yourself right now, "How are you doing? Are you a lively tree or a piece of deadwood? Do you produce fruit or are you a spiritual burden to others?"

Chapter 30     #6430

In chapter 31 we come to the 4th of the 6 "woes" that began back in chapter 28 and shall continue through to chapter 35 verse 10. This particular "woe" is direct to the point concerning the apostasy, the great falling away of our people in these last days as they continue to "go down", to slouch towards Gomorrah, to forsake His Word and put their trust in the things of this world and the worldly powers, even the New World Order, to bring about peace and to secure their physical and financial future well-being. How futile indeed are the ways of man for apart from God, without acknowledging the true Prince of Peace, there can and will be no peace. It seems our people will have to learn this lesson the hard way, which is by way of chastisement, but learn it they will for it is our Father's plan of love!
The subject of chapter 31 is "apostasy", both individual and national. And though it is written that the majority of our people are going to revolt (carah, apostatize) and therefore stumble and fall before the false messiah, you need not be among them IF you are willing to "Turn unto Him".

Chapter 31    #6431

The Millennial reign of the righteous King and His dominion is the subject of this 32nd chapter in the book of Isaiah. Isaiah 32:9 Rise up, ye women that are at ease; hear my voice, ye careless daughters; give ear unto my speech. This is addressed to the woman, even to the daughters of Jerusalem (Luke 23:28-31), i.e. to the true House of Israel who has become as prosperous as a "fat cat" and believes herself to be secure in her salvation and in need of nothing (spiritually speaking, see Rev. 3:17)). In other words, this is addressed to America, and to Great Britain, and to Canada, and to the rest of their sister Christian nations.

There shall be a great awaking (a rude awaking for many) when Christ returns and the veil of this flesh age is parted asunder. Again, there shall be no holding back or dimming (diminishing) of the teaching of truth by God's elect, those with eyes to see. The Word of God shall go forth and all ears shall plainly hear and adhere to the Word of God... for as we already read, His laws and statutes will be enforced with a "rod of iron", meaning with discipline. And not only will all eyes be opened to His truth, but as it is written in Isa. 14:15-16 and in Revelation 20:2, Satan shall be bound and cast into the pit during the thousand years we call the Millennium. Thus there shall be "no darkness" for his evil spirit and influence will not go forth during that time... until the thousand years are ended at which time he shall be released for a short season of testing to see if any shall still swallow his liberal garbage, i.e. eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. At that time, any who do eat from that burned out tree, i.e. who follow after Satan, shall surely DIE... only this death will not be a fleshly shadow (type) of death, which is given once unto all men (Heb. 9:27), but rather the REAL THING, the second death, the death and perishing of the soul in the lake of fire (Rev. 21:8)!

Chapter 32     #6432

These who "wait upon the Lord" and are found praying this prayer are those wise virgins, even those who are "left behind" laboring in the field in Matthew 24! They are the ones who remain spiritual virgins and are not "carried away" with the "other Jesus" that is taught by the traditions of men.

Our Father has forewarned us numerous times not to enter into covenants and treaties with heathen nations nor to trust and rely on them for our peace and security. Keep that in mind as we now begin the 5th of the 6 woes that started back in chapter 28.

Chapter 33     #6433

In chapter 34 the judgment of the gentile nations of the world, at the return of Jesus Christ is addressed.

Chapter 34    #6434

In chapter 35 the kingdom blessings of the gentile nations of the world are addressed. All of us, Israelite and gentile are now born back into the spirit.

Chapter 35    #6435

To study the Bible is the noblest of all pursuits; to understand it, the highest of all goals.
We pray that with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, you accomplish both.
