So "Where is the God of Judgment?"

The whole world will find out soon enough but "take heed" if you fit into one of the categories below (vs. 5), because if you do and unless you repent and return unto Him you are destined to be the first one placed on the HOT SEAT when the God of Judgment comes as He has promised!

Woe!

Mal. 3:5 And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers, and against those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger from his right, and fear not me, saith the LORD of hosts.
Those who oppress God's people by offending ("skandalizo") them with their traditions thereby causing them to fall in the great apostasy (2 Thes. 2) shall receive a "swift witness" followed by His swift justice!

For sure we have more than adequately made the point in our study of Malachi thus far that the MANY supposed men of God who come in His name claiming to be His representatives are not busy being "about their Father's business", but are busy being about their own "business" speaking vain words, serving themselves, and not speaking His Words, thereby serving Him!

That is because they are "undisciplined" in His Word which quite frankly makes them non-disciples of Christ for they do not follow Him.

We are not judging anyone but rather bringing to light that which is already written.

Here is how James puts it:

James 1:26
If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain.
If a man or women of God does not exercise the discipline (bridleth his tongue) to speak and teach His words, then what he or she speaks and teaches is "emptiness" (vanity) and shall perish in His "fire".
[27] Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.
Look up the compound Greek word for "visit" and you will find it means to "visit along side of" as in to "watch out for", i.e. to be a watchman!

And who are they to be a "watchman" to?

To the fatherless, who are the orphaned children of the "lost tribes of Israel", and the widows, those lacking an husband... even those who have been estranged from their true husband!

You see, those who are truly knowledgeable (disciplined in His Word), His watchmen and His messengers who speak His Word, will "visit" and reunite the children with their "fathers", their true heritage, even the patriarchs of Israel, and return the widows to their true husband, Jesus Christ, the Word of God.

However, the message we have just read in the Book of "My Messenger" (Malachi), is that God is not going to fool around with those "false teachers" and "adulterers" who have jumped in bed with the false messiah and have left His children "blind" and "lame" and wandering about in the wilderness without food or water!

All one can say is that it is a good thing our Father has given us His covenant and the "promise" of His coming!

Mal. 3:6
For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.
God is true to His Word and He made a covenant with His people.

He sent His Son to be the Savior of Israel and to redeem them and He has promised to return.

You see, Christ did not come at the first advent to bring judgment but rather to bring salvation.

However, at His second advent He is coming as the King of king and Lord of lords to execute justice and rule all nations with a rod of iron.

To study the Bible is the noblest of all pursuits; to understand it, the highest of all goals.
We pray that with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, you accomplish both.
