Pamphlet 1757 Figtree kc 2-4
Here we have it! The two seeds of the Parable of the Tares!
And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:
Here we have it! The two seeds of the Parable of the Tares in Mat. 13! REMEMBER? God is NOT talking about "apple seeds" here! He is talking about progeny, children, the same thing Christ was talking about in Mat. 13! And I will put enmity between thee (Satan) and the woman (Eve), and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.
That's right? Eve is about to give birth and one of those children will be the offspring of the Devil.Matthew 13:38
The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;
Satan sowed his "seed" right there in the fig grove! How? He seduced Eve and she participated in the "conception" of that bad seed! The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.
Now notice the sentence of "sorrow" (travail) related to child birth that Eve receives because of what she has done.
Well, how are you doing? Are you still with us or have you decided to stick with "snakes and apples"?Genesis 3:16
Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.
...To study the Bible
is the noblest of all pursuits; to understand it, the highest of all goals.
We pray that with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, you accomplish both.
