The
reason they shall not be spiritually harmed
is
because they have on the Gospel Armor (Eph. 6),
which
means they study His Word and they do it!
Previously we learned that the Lord will use His elect in bringing forth the "victory" against the Assyrian when he "shall come into our land: and when he shall tread in our palaces (Micah 5:5)".
God's elect are those 7 shepherds (Micah 5:5) He raises up to take a stand against the Assyrian.
They are those 7,000 (Rom. 11) "election of His grace" called the "remnant" who have not bowed a knee to Baal.
We also learned that the Lord has given unto His servants "Power" over ALL the "power of the enemy"!
That "Power" is His strength which is His twoedged Sword (Rev. 1:16), which is the Word of God!
And who is it that can stand against the power of His might?
Answer: No one!
Luke 10:19
Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
And they shall take a stand against Satan and they shall take the Sword of the Lord, the truth of His Word, His Power, and they shall be the instruments in His hand to cut asunder the evil enemies of our people.
Ephes. 6:10
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.[11] Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
Or are you planning to fly away into "Never, Never Land" with all the other "Lost Boys"?
Thank God for the fearless, unwavering Christian soldiers He has sent us to cut off spiritual wickedness and the enemies of our people.
And those enemies SHALL be "cut off".
Micah 5:9
Thine hand shall be lifted up upon thine adversaries, and all thine enemies shall be cut off.
Therefore, what follows in the last five verses of Micah 5 is extremely good news in that it defines the very "victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name (Rev. 15:2)".
What exciting times we live in, for "that day" of victory is close at hand!
Micah 5:10
And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD, that I will cut off thy horses out of the midst of thee, and I will destroy thy chariots:
To study the Bible is the noblest of all pursuits; to understand it, the highest of all goals.
We pray that with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, you accomplish both.
