America may think she is getting away with spiritual adultery and injustice,
but you can be assured from the Word of God, it is not hid from Him!

Hosea 13:12 The iniquity of Ephraim is bound up; his sin is hid.

We said at the outset of this study that God has a timeline set for the correction and the redemption of His children.

Christians are not going to get away with their idol worship of the traditions of men
which will lead directly to their worshipping the false messiah.

And America is not going to get away with committing fornication with the kings of the earth.

His chastisement of His children shall happen when our patient and loving Father is good and ready (2 Pet. 3:9),
according to His plan and His timeline.

Dr. Moffat translates this verse, "Ephraim's iniquity is carefully collected, his sin is kept in store for him."

So Ephraim, spelled A-m-e-r-i-c-a, should not even begin to think that God has forgotten her sins.

America may think she is getting away with spiritual adultery and injustice,
but you can be assured from the Word of God, it is not hid from Him!

Now notice this next verse which actually lets the "wise" know
the season spoken of for "the time of trouble,
such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time... (Dan. 12:1)".

[13] The sorrows of a travailing woman shall come upon him: he is an unwise son; for he should not stay long in the place of the breaking forth of children.
The "travail" (birth pangs) which "shall come upon him" (Ephraim/America) are happening to this final generation.

They are the same "sorrows" (odin, Greek 5604; a pang or throe,
especially of childbirth:- pain, sorrow, travail.)

Christ spoke of in Mat. 24 and Mark 13 when He outlined the events just preceding His return.

And who is the "unwise" son?

He is the foolish virgin (Christian) of Mat. 25
who did not study His Word to gain the supply of oil necessary
to see his way through "the days of darkness and gloominess (Joel 2:2)".

To study the Bible is the noblest of all pursuits; to understand it, the highest of all goals.
We pray that with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, you accomplish both.
